Even More Nassau Grouper in the Cayman Islands

The Grouper Moon Project, a successful collaboration between REEF and the Cayman Islands Department of Environment (DOE), celebrated its 21st year. The project focuses on studying the spawning aggregations of endangered Nassau Grouper in the Caribbean. This year, the research team observed a significant increase in the number of Nassau Grouper visiting the aggregation site, with over 8,000 individuals documented.
