We work towards these goals through our participation in the scientific, conservation and resource management communities by producing a diverse range of written and visual materials, participation in workshops, international meetings, committees and other relevant forums. The Society has a Board of 7 and a membership of about 300, among them biologists, conservationists, fishery managers, educators, fishers and communicators.

The Society for the Conservation of Reef Fish Aggregations was formed in 2000 to raise awareness about the vulnerability of reef fish spawning aggregations and work towards their better protection and management.
